MW Homecare Services is a personal home care service caring for area seniors and those with mobility and memory care issues throughout our Montgomery and surrounding counties.
Founded by two experienced professionals, Alwaleed Ata and Mawahib Abedalla, inspiration for launching MW Homecare came from their collective experience in serving seniors and those with disabilities and the associated growth of the elderly population.
In 1980, seniors comprised 8.7% of the overall population in Montgomery County. By 2000, that number reached 10.7%, and by 2020 it reached 14.4%. Our senior population was the fastest growing segment between 2010 and 2022 with an increase of 23.5%.
Statewide, Ohio seniors will comprise 25% of our total population. Those aged 85 and older is projected to increase at an even greater rate and will reach 51% by 2040.
Unlike popular national home care franchises working aggressively to build top-down businesses focused on retaining franchisees and, thus, increasing the cost of care for families, MW Homecare Services success is a bottom-up approach focusing on individual clients and building a strong team of compassionate caregivers.
